| Description | The Long Term Care Implementation Council of Nevada County has been meeting for over ten years. Their vision for improved access to community resources set the stage for Nevada County to become the first rural county in California to be approved by the CPUC to provide 2-1-1 in the fall of 2009. In 2010, the same community partners, including, A4AA/HelpLine, the County of Nevada, Public Authority In-Home Supportive Services, and 2-1-1 Nevada County, came together through FREED, Center for Independent Living to fulfill their original vision to streamline consumer access to services through the ADRC. |
